Location
We love the Suffolk Coastal area. Not just the coast which is as beautiful as it is varied, but also the rural villages and towns. Anywhere East of a line drawn from Ipswich to Bury St. Edmunds and Norwich is our target.
Type
We're both getting on and, frankly, done with stairs! High rise flat (w/lift) in town or on the seafront, a recently redeveloped classic piece of architecture (old maltings, hospital, brewery, bank, airport, commercial buildings, etc. ) or a modern bungalow.
Style
Contemporary, modern. Either classic 1950s or older as long as it's been updated, a period piece that has been converted, or brand-spanking new architectural modern. With high EPC. See themodernhouse.com for our inspiration.
Size
Larger than 85sq m/900sq ft. One bed, preferably two. One bath, possibly plus a half bath - two would be nice. Separate laundry or utility room is a must.
Outside
Some sort of outdoor space. A balcony, a gazebo, patio, small garden or a "she-shed!" A garage would be lovely too - but an assigned parking space will do.
Plot Alternative
We would also love a modest plot (part of a large garden?) to build a 100m sq bungalow on. Know anyone/anywhere with space (with OPP) to spare and sell?
